Nolanville sits on South Nolan Creek and I-14 in western Bell County, just east of Killeen, where the city’s own plan puts it on the border between the Blackland Prairie and the Edwards Plateau. Many residents are military families or veterans from Fort Cavazos, and the town grew from 4,259 people in 2010 to 5,917 in 2020. The city has studied the Nolan Creek floodplain, so drainage is worth an early look on any lot near the creek.
